Ziggurat
A children's playground needed a new feature for supervised play for 5-10 year-olds as well as equipment storage and toilets. The new facility also had to excite visual interest with a landmark statement.
Perspekt's answer was the 'Ziggurat'. Triangular in plan, a ramp rises from ground level to a high central platform. Resilient soft surfaces provide a safe play space with scramble nets etc. and the whole also functions as a viewing platform for field events.
The exterior features ball play wall and climbing walls. Beneath the ramp are toilets and storage.
